The image represents the supreme Shiva, fully manifest. The calm central face of Shiva represents Mahadeva with the full sensuous lips and a chest of mighty proportions, which is adorned by rows of nacklaces. One of the hands in front holds a citron while the other is damaged. The face of destruction, that of Aghora, is to our left and remains in the shadow for it is Shiva's manifestation as the destroyer who ends death and time. Symbols of death adorne his hair, a skull and a serpent. The third face represents Shiva in his aspect as Vamadeva, the beautiful god who is the feminine aspect of creation. The hand holds a lotus. The fourth face which is not visible is said to represent Nandin, the mighty bull and Shiva's vehicle....
Ach ja, auf dem Heimweg wurde ich von einem Typ angesprochen, der weisse Touristen als Komparsen fuer einen Bollywoodfilm morgen anwerben wollte.. ich hab seine Handynummer.. aber ich weiss nicht, ob ich da hinwill. Waer schon lustig, vielleicht.. aber wahrscheinlich auch langweilig. Ausserdem gefallen mir die Bollywoodfilme absolut nicht. Dafuer koennte ich aber tolle indische Schauspieler treffen.. aeh.. deren Namen mir leider gar nix sagen.

Beim letzten Eintrag sprang mich das Gleiche an wie Doro: da würde ich ja schon in D sagen, äh, Vorsicht, maximal zu zweit aber im fremden Indien mit fremden Menschen, die Du nicht kennst..-wär ich doppelt vorsichtig, you never know.

also, da kann ich doro und annette nur recht geben! wer weiß, welche hintergedanken dahinter stehen. erinnert mich doch sehr an die geschichten, die es hierzulande gibt.... a la : probefotoshooting für fotomodellcasting.... und wie du schon festgestellt hast, drehen sich die inder einfach weg, wenn du sie um hilfe fragst, also bist du immer vollkommen auf dich allein gestellt.
